| Lunch at this Mexican place with the Elders last P-Day |
| We redecorated! |
Wow this week was crazy and full. First, Monday was a free Pday because we had to deep clean our appartment for Tuesday. Which Tuesday was clean checks (which happen every other transfer) and Interviews with President! Hna Godfrey came and our house was spotless. She is also worrying about the health of the sisters and the mission as a whole because our mission has a reputation of gaining a lot of weight. So she gave all the sisters YOGA MATS! and papers with how to eat healthy and some yoga and palatis (no idea how to spell that). So thats exciting. Hna and President Godfrey are definetly from Utah, but I love it because it reminds me of my own parents and that makes me happy. Apparently President and Hna Erikson were very strict and loved to use there voices sometimes not in a nice way, but I guess the Godfreys have a lot more love in all they do which is more effective for me, so its been going good.
Then Wednesday, we had a multi zone confrence and training with an area of the 70. Cant remember his name because I couldnt pronounce it, but he was from Brazil which was really cool to hear his accent. We took a group photo as well, which I havent recieved yet.
Then Thursday night, was a gathering for Jordan. He is the only member in his family and leaves for his mission on Wednesday! He and Hno Miguel, our ward mission leader have been coming with us pretty much every day. But Thursday night, as you may have remembered, Hno Miguel is a professional Clown, so he convinced us to paint our faces as clowns. Apparently tons of missionaries before have done it, but it was a little strange. Hno Miguel showed us how with his paint. Ill send a pic. But you could feel the love in the room for Jordan, and as I looked around the room, almost every single person there were converts. Because of missionaries, they all had the gospel and were happy! I am so greatful for this opportunity to spread the happiness that I too have.
We are also continuing to teach the guy with helatos, Rodman, which is very interesting, and always gives us free icecream. but I am not sure how that will end.
We also are continuing to teach Damaris and Moroni and they want to get married, but we are not sure when.
Which brings me to another point, Tonight we find out COMBIOS. aka transfers. And we dont know for sure now, but I am pretty sure that I will be going to another area. But we will see.
I love you all and I am so greatful for this opportunity to be here! I know this church is true and I am learning so much! The language is slowly coming, but it is coming! I love this gospel!
Love, Hna Smoot
